The short version
This site has no forms, no accounts, no analytics and no ads, and it sets no cookies. We don't sell anything about you, because we don't collect anything to sell. The one way to send us information is to email us.
What the site loads
Everything on pfmdesign.com comes from pfmdesign.com: the page, the fonts, the 3D code and the machine photos on the PartScheduler board. Nothing loads from Google, social networks, ad networks or analytics services, so none of them hear that you visited.
The links to partscheduler.com go to PartScheduler's own site, which loads only if you click one.
Server logs
DreamHost hosts this site. Like almost every web server, theirs writes a line for each request it answers: your IP address, the time, the address you asked for, the page that sent you here and what your browser says it is. DreamHost keeps those logs to run its servers and keep attackers out, and its privacy policy covers what it does with them.
We can read those logs when something breaks. We don't use them to track or profile anyone, and we don't combine them with anything else.
If you email us
An email to an address at pfmdesign.com gives us whatever you put in it: your address and name, the message and any files. DreamHost hosts that mailbox too.
- We use it to answer you and, if we end up working together, to do the work.
- We keep it while it's useful for that work and for ordinary business records, like taxes.
- We don't sell it, rent it out or add you to a mailing list.
Ask us to delete your messages and we will, except for anything the law says a business has to keep.
Your browser
The site stores nothing in your browser: no cookies and no local storage. If you pause the PartScheduler board or pick a different particle count in the lab, that choice lasts until you leave the page. Your browser keeps its own cache of the files it downloaded so the next visit loads faster, and that cache is yours to clear. The cookie page has the details.
PartScheduler
PartScheduler is a PFM Design product with its own website and app. They collect different things, like the waiting list and app sign-ins, and partscheduler.com/privacy covers them. This page covers pfmdesign.com only.
Children
This site is for businesses. It isn't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.
Changes and questions
If we change what the site collects, we'll change this page first and update the date at the top. Questions go to the same inbox as everything else:
